July 4 2026 is our Quarter Millennium, the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. It can also be called the Semi-quincentennial. I encourage visitors to comment on their thoughts about the Birthday. Maybe what "Independence' means to you.

Arizona's Birthday is Feb. 14, 1912. Courier has a great 2-8-26 article on page 5B showing that event and the planting of the Statehood Tree at Courthouse Square.
